Waterton’s Got Talent

24.03.23

This week, a group of children from Key Stage 2 represented the school at Waterton’s Got Talent in Normanton.

The event celebrates the talents of children who attend the 13 schools within the trust. This year, our children performed a song called Revolting Children from Matilda the Musical. The children were able to show off their singing and musical theatre skills. The group agreed, “Our favourite part of the performance is where we scream, throw our blazers around and hurl paper aeroplanes.  This is the part of the performance where we are rebelling against the headteacher, Miss Trunchbull, and the rest of the school.”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly:

Year 1: Freddie Wilkinson

Year 2: Harry Stubbs

Year 3: Tommy Scott

Year 4: Indie Cartwright-Horobin

Year 5: Brodie Britton

Year 6: Riley Cartwright-Horobin
