Recently, the school council interviewed a member of staff to find out more about his role in school and how he supports the physical wellbeing of the children.
Mr Houghton talked about the importance of physical exercise. He shared how the activities that are set up at lunchtime on the playground and the after-school clubs that take place all year aim to improve the physical fitness of everyone who takes part. Mylie, a member of the school council, said, “Mr Houghton told us about the importance of being physically healthy and strong. His daily activities are designed in a way that enable different parts of our bodies to be exercised in various ways. This helps us as our body grows and develops.”
