Helping in an Emergency

18.06.21

Recently, the children in year 4 had the chance to meet with a paramedic and find out more about his amazing job!

During the visit, the children learnt about the different jobs that a paramedic might do.  He also explained that there are lots of different jobs within the ambulance service.  The visitor also talked about the role of a volunteer helper and he explained that these people support the NHS in times of need.

After the meeting, Levi said, “I would like to be a mechanic for the ambulance service because it is an important job for the NHS!” Jaxson added, “I like how many of these jobs care for people.  We learnt to look around for signs of danger before approaching someone to give them first aid.”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
