Last week, the children in our Reception class visited Hemsworth library. For some children, it was their first opportunity to go to the local library. All the class were able to look at the different types of books that an adult could read to them. Miss Lodge, the class teacher, was also able to get her very own class library card and she was able to borrow some books for her classroom.
Alexa said, “We need a library card to borrow books. I love the book I got!” Loki said, “I liked it when the lady read to us. It was a funny book. Then I got to pick my own and I brought it back to school.” Miss Lodge added, “Lots of children have already been looking at our new books!”
