Three children have chosen some new books for the school library as a reward for giving fantastic reviews of the books they’ve read.
All of our children visit the library each fortnight. Before they choose a new book, they tell the other children in the class about the book that they have been reading. They know they have given a great recommendation if the other children decide to read that book next. Tommy said, “I really enjoyed reading a book about football legends and learning more about their achievements during their career.” Lola added, “The book that I have chosen reminds me of the one we are doing in class – Emil and the Detectives – as it is an adventure story.”
