This week, members of our school council visited a local foodbank. The children found out more about how the foodbank supports the local community. They recognised the importance of the volunteers who work there and, whilst they were there, the children were able to drop off some of the donations that the school had received to celebrate the Harvest Festival. Kacper and Tilly said, “The foodbank supports families, the elderly and people who are most in need not just with food but also cleaning products, toiletries and pet supplies. We want to keep giving people the opportunity to donate to the foodbank so that we help our community.”
