Last week, the children in year 4 had the chance to meet and interview the ITV news journalist James Webster. During the meeting, the children found out more about his day-to-day role. He talked to the class about the processes of filming and editing reports ready to be broadcasted. He also talked about how he got into the career as a journalist and some of the best moments he has had in this job. Our year 4 children will now make their own video in their computing lessons. Cayden said, “We were really lucky to see his camera and other equipment. He has given us some great tips to help create our very own West End news report.”
