As part of Safer Internet Day, the reading ambassadors hosted a special assembly to reinforce important messages about online safety. The reading ambassadors read a book called “Troll Stinks” to the rest of the school. After, the children had the opportunity to reflect on the story and talk about what they might have done differently using what they have been learning in their computing lessons. Afterwards, Lyla said, “The little billy goat should have told an adult when he found the mobile as you aren’t allowed to use another person’s phone.” Lola added, “You must get consent before putting a photo of someone else online. Otherwise, you could get yourself into trouble.”
Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
