A proud member of

Places of Worship

24.05.2024

Recently, the children in year 3 visited a mosque and a chapel to improve their understanding of these religious buildings. In class, the children have been comparing the two places of worship and found out further differences between them on their visit. They have also been learning about how a mosque isn’t just a place of worship for Muslims but also a place where the community meet. After the visit, Eva said, “Both buildings were detailed but in different ways.  The stained-glass windows of the church and the minaret of the mosque were beautifully made.”  Rudie added, “You have to show respect when you are in these buildings.  Muslims listen carefully to the leader during prayers in the mosque.”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
