This term, two of our school’s football teams have delivered great performances in the opening round of matches in the Waterton League. The tournament enables children from schools across the trust to compete against each other in a range of sports and show off their talents. The children in years 5 and 6 won their competition whilst the children in years 3 and 4 were also victorious. Afterwards, Parker said, “It was great to win our tournament without conceding a goal. It showed how we defended as a team.” Mr Outram added, “It was great to see the resilience of our Lower Key Stage 2 team by scoring a late equaliser in the last game to ensure they topped the table.”
