Last week, our year 6 children visited York St John University so they could learn about the opportunities that exist in further education. The class went on a tour of the campus with the university ambassadors and saw where the students learn, socialise and relax. Year 6 also learnt about the societies that university students could join before getting the chance to design their own society. Afterwards, Oliver and Fraizer said, “The campus was huge and over 200 years old. We learnt about all the different courses that we could choose if we decided to go to university in the future. Some of these were criminology, sports management and animation.”
