This week, the School Council had a special assembly with the whole of the school to share the work they have been doing around safeguarding. The team shared the child-friendly safeguarding leaflet that they have written this term. They talked about why they have written it and the important things that they wanted to include, before answering questions from children and governors.
Iris said, “We wanted to make sure that if children are worried that they know who to go to because you always want to make sure everyone is safe.” Ellie added, “It is important that our children also know the difference between big and small feelings so the right person can help them.”
