This week, the School Council had a special assembly with the whole of the school to share the work they have been doing around British values. The School Council were able to share the child-friendly British values document that they have written this term. They talked about why they have written it and the important things that they wanted to include before answering the children’s questions. Billy said, “During the assembly, we reminded the children about the meaning of each of our British values. We each talked about one of the values and how it could link to life at West End. Individual liberty means that we can make our own choices such as going to after-school club.”
Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
