This half-term, the Year 5 children are taking part in a special PE lesson each week led by the Leeds United Foundation.
The children are learning how to become a better sports leader. They are taking part in activities which will allow them to develop their leadership skills as well as having fun! So far, they have learnt how the power of language can help to quickly solve a problem.
After, James said, “When I was a leader, I learnt that it is important to be confident and make sure my instructions are loud and clear.” Elaina added, “I enjoyed the group activities as we were relying on other people to know where to go. We had to listen closely to their instructions.”
Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
