World Book Day Winner

27.05.21

This week, Tia-Jae, in year 4, found out that she had won a national competition organised by David Walliams as part of World Book Day.
Tia was one of only ten winners out of the thousands that entered.  She had to write about her favourite David Walliams character and explain why she liked this character so much. As well as winning a set of signed books for herself, she also won a set for the school.
Tia said, “My favourtie character is Honey the Hogger from the World’s Worst Children 3 book.  I chose to write about her as she makes me laugh and gets into sticky situations.  I really enjoy reading books by David Walliams as they are amusing and the stories have lots of twists and turns.”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
