This term, the children in Lower Key Stage 2 are working hard to learn and recall multiplication and division facts.
During their math’s lessons, the children have listened to songs and learnt dance routines to help them remember related facts. The children have also played games on the computer to help them remember facts and to make sure that these facts can be recalled quickly. Tommy said, “I like using the I-Pad as the speed tests help me to recall my times tables more quickly. The Super Movers videos gets your brain thinking as you chant the times tables. By the end of year 3, we need to know our threes, fours and eight times tables instantly.”
Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
