Last week, each class took part in Waterton Academy Trust’s Olympic event competing against all the other schools within the trust. Each class team took part in ten different sporting events and earned points dependent on how well they did. After totalling up all the scores, it was announced that our teams from years 3 and 5 had scored more points than any other school. Afterwards, Aleeya said, “The hardest game was trying to balance the soft ball on the tennis racket and travel at speed.” A-Jay added, “I really enjoyed the hockey game where we had to dribble the ball through the cones. We tried our hardest, worked together and that is why I think that we won.”
Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
