Recently, our new School Council held their first meeting to discuss the priorities for the forthcoming year. Children in every class recently voted for who they would like to represent them on the School Council. In the first meeting, the new team has already started to think about how they could develop the school’s gardening area. They are also planning a fundraising day linked to mental health. After a meeting, Levi said, “We want to improve the gardening area so that children can use it in their science lessons and we can also grow our own food.” Georgie added, “It will also be an area of calmness should any of the younger children want to sit there during playtime.”
