Last week, the school had a visit from the Wakefield Music Service who performed a special show for many of our children. The visitors, who are all peripatetic teachers, joined as one big orchestra to play some well-known songs. They also gave the children the chance to remember the names of the instruments and learn more facts about them, including the different sounds that they make. After the concert, Tilly said, “I really enjoyed listening to the performance and I can’t wait to learn how to play the drums in our music lessons this year.” Mr Jackson added, “All the children showed fantastic listening skills and recalled what they had remembered in their music lessons.”
