Last week, the children in our Reception class visited Hemsworth library. For some children, it was their first opportunity to go to the local library. All the class were able to look at the different types of books that an adult could read to them. Miss Lodge, the class teacher, was also able to get her very own class library card and she was able to borrow some books for her classroom. After the visit, Blake said, “I am glad that we got this book about sea creatures from the library. My favourite pages are this one about the pufferfish and this one about the shark.” Miss Lodge added, “Lots of children have already been looking at our new books!”
